Details of the Admission Policy & Process

Students are admitted in the various UG, PG and M. Phil., courses on the basis of their merit as prescribed by the Govt. Applications are issued and filled in applications are received from the eligible candidates in time. The received applications are scrutinized and the merit list is prepared. From the merit list, the students are selected on the basis in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. As our College is a Muslim Minority Institution, 50% of the seats are filled with students belonging to the Muslim Community and the remaining 50% of the seats including physically challenged and transgenders are filled as per the guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The percentage of seats allotted as per quota is given below:

From the above terms and conditions, the selection list is prepared and call letters sent to the selected candidates instructing them that they have been provisionally selected and asked to report before the Principal for an interview. The candidate must bring his / her father at the time of admission. If father is not alive, the guardian will be considered. After the physical screening, the TC, CC, Mark statements, etc., are verified and admissions are given to the students. If there is any grievance in the matter of admission, it may be brought to the notice of the Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Madurai – 20.
